Engine rpm

Good at all
My LC 100 4.7 V8 cuts out and changes gears at 4100 rpm. Specs says the engine should make its max power at 4800 rpm. Am I missing something?

I dont know if you have one but if it has is the ect button pressed so it holds the gears longer?

Ja. Ect button is in and the light on the dash is also on. I just bought the car, so I do not know if this is normal?
