Hi All,

I know that here in UK, there is a shortage of sub tanks for Land Cruisers.
Unlike the abundance available in Aus and RSA for example.

Here is another tank that I found.
This fits the LC3 range of Land Cruisers, and fits into the void area where the spare wheel is stored on the LC4 and LC5

At $1065 AUD, it is not for me, but sure a good addition for others.

That would be interesting - 256 litres total on-board capacity  only £390 to fill both tanks - yikes!!

But a far range then - well close to 1300 miles between fill ups.

I can see how the shape of the tank fits well in the void at the rear.

It really doesn't look "very" expensive, as far as the prices with other tanks.

Nice fully filled capacity though.
Even more additional capacity for the 100 series I see.

Seems though to be aimed at replacing the second tank in the SA / AUS models which means you'll be missing all sorts of stuff from the UK version. I think the standard second tank is 90L or 50L?

Imagine filling that though. Most stations around here stop at £100. I have to signal to the man in the window to reset and allow me to fill more. With this, it would be 3 times...

Just wondering. What's the mpg to weight scale factor here?

Obviously there's many many extra miles to be had... but is there enough extra weight with the oodles more fuel to seriously affect performance over the miles? 170 litres... that's 170kg... sooo.. 26 stone?.. an extra 2 people (or one generous one). Probably not then as it's a reducing weight with each mile.

Just thinking aloud. Must get over this mpg obsession of mine!
