Factory Central locking problem

Hi All

Got an issue with my central locking.

When I unlock the door with the key only that single door opens so I guess its something major in the locking system.

The key fob central locking works intermittently so not the fuse, also get a buzzing noise when pressing the key fob button

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers

Sound like the key fob is the culprit here...
try the spare key?
You can get replacement keys but they need to be coded to your ignition first.

Its not the key fob. The key and the remote button are seperate. Ive tried the spare key fob and Ive changed the battery.

am I correct that the Key (only) can unlock only one door - whereas the fob (remote) does not unlock all/any/one door?

Thats correct. Intermittently the fob will work and open all the doors.

ok - then the fob is/has given notice...I am sure you have replaced the battery with limited joy?
better to replace the fob as sometimes the little button/switch thingys have had it.
you do get aftermarket replacements (again just need to match codes or dip switch settings)

Ive already tried the spare key fob and new batteries in both

I think that kinda covers the basics....
next is to find unlock servos and see what their issue is (loose connection?) earth/neutral?
