Sorry about being so slow but 3 weeks cutting up the bumper and getting ready for welding

I found that a number of the 70 series bumpers covered the headlamps, mine was the same. They also look so high and over the top with the double row of bars

Next was a good old fashioned bump and grind

In fact i like the look without the high bull bar so decided to lower it

Ready for paint and assembly

Col, could you let me know where you get your workshop supplies from please...

I dont Gav, My mate runs a fabrication business making sandwich vans

http://www.bob4.com

so i get them from him for nothing. :D ,

His workers look quite nice with a grinder in their hands and so far i have not been able to find anyone who can better that.

I should have been clearer & asked about the workshop staff really...

But if I need a burger van I also now know where to go too

Interesting, I've never seen a midget winch bumper before. Looks very good though, well done!

Thanks Cossack, lets hope I am not the first person in the UK to hit a Kangaroo on the A17

its certainly different.

Re: front ARB style bumper & rear bumper

i finally started on making my new rear bumper today.

so out with the plywood and table saw.

im making it similar to the front bumper and it will have the same angles so that they both match.

i need to do a bit more woodwork to finish the template then i can get the steel. im hoping to get the 3 main sections bent at my local metal fab place as that will save me a lot of work.

heres a few pics before my camera died.
