Front Diff

Long time no post !
Looking for some info from you guys who have overhauled repaired your front diff's .
I have a 02 90 LWB and intend to adjust the back lash in the diff but cannot find if the diff back lash is shim or adjusters like the rear diff.
I have read all the posts on repairing the diff's but none state how the back lash is set .

Leslie, I rather think that it's shims. Jon is yer diff Doc really, but as SAE has his out at the moment, there are a couple of folk around who can answer this completely. When I had my ARB fitted I seem to recall that the kit contained shims. As it's a clamshell design there is quite a bit of in and out in setting the BL.
