I’ll be watching the build with interest H.
I do like the look of that coaster though.

I may be quite naughty and ask a few generic questions about solar systems (I know @StarCruiser understands electricity and I've a feeling @joinerman may know a thing or two about carpentry)
Those Toyota coasters are amazing a testament to the engine, I've been whisked along middle Eastern highways in them with 20 other guys and they just keep going and going. Even got strafed by a mad Kuwaiti with an AK once. ( I was asleep along with everyone else so it just shattered the windows above us and thankfully no one was hurt)

Happy new year Cruiser friends.
Well after a long time without even seeing my beloved “Brenda” I’m back in April for a whole month .
I’ve kept myself busy in NZ and here’s the almost finished result.

Cheers, Yeah just a weekend thing most of the time as SWMBO is a junior doctor so works pretty long hours and gets quite sporadic leave. We figure two days in a row mean we can just jump in the bus and drive a couple of hours and stay the weekend. Wild camping isn't a problem and there's no shortage of places with a view.

The plan is to do a full size bus to live in while I build a house. Tired of renting and moving all the time.

Had some custom water tanks made up that I need to sling underneath and plumb in. Couldn't get them over Christmas. Oh and waiting for the NZ version of B&Q to deliver the doors for the cupboards. Few little jobs after that like putting trim round the panels and the like.
