Also do 80 and 100 ones. Was the handbrake on the 90 ever any good. I was pondering on weather to do a full clean up and replace all these spings etc. 15 years of use must now have given some sag in the springs etc.
I know there is Uncle Chris' "Getting the most from your handbrake" Thread but figured that this price seems good and If I am gonna overhaul the hand brake it might be worth replacing these aswell.

When I recently changed the rear axle seals I had to take the handbrake off on my truck of the same age, and the handbrake springs were challenging to get on/off. I don't think they had gotten any softer than the day they were put in. I think this would be an unnecessary expense.

On mine, its not the springs I have trouble with - its the shoe retaining clips and rods. They are now quite thin and weak. I have managed to modify them so that they work but new ones would be nice.

I don't think I would go for that kit though.

Bob.
