Hello from Portugal (J90)

Great scenery but an even better looking kzj90

What lift do you have on it and what size are your new wheels and tyres ?

Good night.
I have OME with 5cm at the front and 5+2cm with trim spacer on the back.
The tires are 285/75 r16.

Best regards.

Thanks same tyre size as me so no wonder it looks good :icon-biggrin:

Hello to all.
I'm from Portugal and I own a Land Cruiser KZJ90.
I registered here to exchange ideas about our great machines.

I show here some pictures of my car with some changes.
The photos are arranged randomly
I do not have photos of everything that has been done.

If you have any questions, I'm here ...

Ps: Sorry for my english.

Hi Dapeace,
Just been looking at your photos, very interesting for us, because we are about to do an off-road trip, travelling N0rth from Mertola, through the hills, visiting places like Evora, Serpa, Elvas, Marvao, Monsanto etc. etc... going up as far as, say.... Vale das Equas, then cutting across to Aveiro, then up to Porto and Viana do Castelo. Before then driving East through the Duoro Valley and back to Bilbao. We love Portugal, we have a villa in the south, so we know the Algarve & Lisbon fairly well, but have never travelled through the East of Portugal. Do you have any suggestions as to places we should try to visit on the way, or any recommendations on the route ( I have attached an image of the route we are planning and any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.)
Kind Regards

Hi.
See here some tracks in my page on wikiloc
http://pt.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/user.do?name=AndréGonçalves&id=77237
If you want, mail me your track and i will see it.

Hi
Thanks for coming back.
There 2 routes on wikiloc (which are both almost identical) which is basically the route we will take.

http://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=169955
http://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=7999470

We will be starting at Mertola and working our way off-road north via, hopefully, the most beautiful route.

Dapeace, what ever help you can offer, regarding the route, things to look out for, difficult parts of the route, places to see, places to avoid, campsites you would recommend etc. etc..... any guidance or information would be very much appreciated.
Kind regards
John

Hello.
It's a pity you wanna not meet the highest mountain of Portugal (Serra da Estrela).
I leave you this track with a few changes, this has much beautiful scenery.
Finishing doing the road considered the most beautiful of Alentejo (Castelo de Vide - Portagem).
Then you can continue your track.
I hope you like it.
Be free to ask...
