Hey friends,
I'm from South Africa.
I recently purchased a 2000 Toyota LC 90 with the 3.0 KZTE engine. It has high mileage, but thought I'd give it a shot. I probably paid more for it given the work I've been doing on it, but I'm in it now.
Recently replaced all the discs and pads around the vehicle. Had to repair the power steering high pressure pipe, also replaced the steering rack with new tie rods. Put new upper control arms and upper ball joints, and soon will replace the lower ball joints.
I'm trying to do most the work myself, so even bought some extra tools. Fortunately I have a couple of friends guiding me, to make sure all is good.
The list is long of things to still do:
Repair front prop, new seals for the power steering pump, replace rear main seal, and a few other things. But will do the best I can. Wasn't what I was hoping to be spending money on, but hey, that's a 24 year old car I guess.
