I just priced up all those hoses on Amayama and it came in at £49.32 + £11.62 shipping for genuine…….

Silicone hoses are superior in strength and longevity and popular with the performance car brigade.
Personally, I wouldn't pay the extra over OEM hoses for the LC.

No, I was just curious. Whilst silicone are supposed to have some advantages, I like the security of OEM knowing it lasted this long.

Frank, Amayama is super easy to use if you’ve never done so. I’ve put a screenshot of all the part numbers below. Don’t think I missed anything.

Same, have used Amayama many times, never any issues. Motors Head Japan are equally good, and can be cheaper too. Still OEM parts.

Thanks everyone. Getting a bit concerned over my 30 year old hoses. Some are a bit brittle! What about those heater hose steel tubes that knock into the sides of the block? Those look like fun.

I've just used Partsouq for the first time and got parts delivered from the UAE in 5 days. Parts from Japan may take longer but I found the whole ordering process a bit quicker and easier than Amayama. Either way will be much cheaper than your local for most parts on these old trucks.

I would opt for silicone , rubber hoses deteriorate faster on boats so you can see how they breakdown letting rubber crumbs into the system . Never seen a silicone hose do that .
