Can anyone tell me is a 2004 LC3 cruiser CanBus or normal? In the context of wiring a tow bar, I'm trying to identify the wires at the rear lights for the indicators, brakes and side lights.

When I checked one wire it's giving 4v and fluctuating volts when indicators and side lights are on together. Is this Can Bus? The rear lights and some of the wiring is aftermarket so I can't go by original wire colours. Also, if it's Can Bus I believe I won't see 12v at the wires either.

I actually wired this in the mean time. Made very easy in the end. There is a wiring connector in the passenger rear that has all the wires I needed. This must be the connector other folk do mention as being the tow bar wiring connector from Toyota, but I usually see it being mentioned of as being behind the drivers side next the jack.

It seems my 120 isn't can bus, the fluctuating 4 volts wire was an aftermarket wire a previous owner had down at the rear bumper light unit, so not standard. As it was fluctuating volts I thought it might be can bus.

At the spare connector block I used, I had constant 12v at the appropriate wire, ie: brakes, tails. The indicators flicked between 12v and lower numbers, is this because the voltage is flicking on / off in accordance with the flashing indicator or should the indicator wire have a constant 12v once it's switched on?

Here are the wire colours if it helps anyone searching in the future:
Blue/Yellow = Drivers indicator
Blue/Black = Pass Indicator
Green/Yellow = Brakes
Green = Tails

And pic of the oem Trailer wiring connector thats already in place:
