i find it interesting that the OZ army are now using G wagons, im sure theyve always used lamerovers.

Or Q7 running gear? Audi seems to have a closer link with Lambo under the VAG banner...
You have to wonder what VW are hoping to achieve with all these expensive on-road SUVs. The Touareg and Q7, plus ties with the Porsche Cayenne.
It looks like a case of "me too" with Ferrari launching their FF provoking competition
