I have been a proud owner of a '92, 80 series Turbo diesel Landcruiser GXL for 13 years. His name is Max.
Max will be moving 2000ks away (Qld, Australia to Vic, Australia) with a full load and therefore was recently fitted with a roof rack.
The roof rack included 2 x 110 watt Solar Panels free. I am quite the ignorant one with Solar tho have decided to make use of them. I would love to learn how to connect them, what materials I would need (converter etc) and what I would use them for 
.
Side note - Max runs 2 batteries, not isolated.
