Lincomb meets 2017

That one felt like a really alarming angle down at the bottom! Cheers again!!

The course was really good. Well set out and being dry was manageable and therefore got round most of it. First time I ve done a punch challenge and have to say really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next time.

Back home after staying last night at Lincomb with Nick, was very rainy but a good evening around the fire. Results of the punch challenge in the uploaded file.

An extremely dry weekend during the punch challenge gave plenty of traction in the woods which might have contributed to the number of CV's that went pop. The winner completed a full card of 25 punches in under 4 hours which must be some kind of record and means some thinking required to put some really difficult ones into the next event.

Thanks again to Tony for having us this weekend and to Ian Rubie for our dash around the course putting out direction signs at the last minute. I had great fun driving around collecting the punches in and discovered that Porter is not a good session beer for me if I want to speak properly o_O

Having Silver Phoenix up and running again was terrific and to round the weekend off, I scored myself a Foxwing awning. Much explaining required when I got home.

Right, another Lincomb under the belt, nice to meet a few new members. Next meet up is Romania, put the kettle on Clive. :icon-wink:
Got home an hour ago, traffic good, stopped a couple of times for refreshments. While I was maneuvering to leave the site I managed to put a wheel on someones tool case get in touch and let me know the damage.

Kettle's always on Chas, just got home ourselves, back to the City that is.

Looks like you've all had fun, great photos and thanks to Nick for all the vids so far, Mr G. Pro's done him proud!

Clive, Most of those are off the phone (turned to the darkside remember) I need to edit things a bit off the gopro which is taking me ages.

,Hi all it was a great time good to see old and new cruiser person thanks to Trev and Tom and Kael thanks to Tony it was great to go off road in the 80 with Tom thanks to all for comeing in a lot of cool cruiser good to see Andy and Maria see you all next time .

I've missed the last few Lincombs so it was good to get back to one. I was pleased with the way the 100 went - this was the first time I've driven it off road. I initially did not bother lowering the tyre pressures but I ended up needing a gentle pull in the clay pits. I then dropped the pressures and was fine for the rest of the weekend.

Thanks to Trev, Tom, Karl and of course Tony.

Looking forward to the next one.

Sorry to keep posting them separately, I'm on my break and just discovered that the new phone is powerful with the dark side and can edit the vids quicker than the pooter at home!

That steep punch would have been fun in the wet, I guess

Great vids, looks like it was a good weekend.
I'll hopefully make the next meet

According to Mr happy grinning twat, because i went left at the first step it didn't count.
