Looks good, interested to see the rollcage come together.

Envious of your welding skills!!

Damn, that looks terrific!!
Point being with a 60 series is that the chassis is riveted, so therefore galvanizing is not really an option...

We should meet up on a Friday or so, as I work in Drachten

must say I,m very pleased with the result.
considering it has bin several years for me sins a last painted a car, it went very good.

next thing to do should be getting the axles back under the chassis, but not sure if a can resist the temptation of bolting all the remaining pieces on to the body :icon-cool:

Very nice job on the paint there man.. what a transformation you have!
I think I'm gonna have to paint mine now the body is off...

ruben.jpg

our son was born on the 28 august,

So I closed the shop for 2 weeks, tryning to sleep once in a while I did manage to get some things don on the landcruiser.

First I pulled the chassis in the workshop and removed all the bolts and nuts witch protected the treads.

repaired the rear axle, both spring seats where totaly gone. build some new one's out of 6mm steel.
than removed as much rust as possible and gave it a coat of black paint.

Front axle didn't need any repair so it was also given a coat of black paint. ( sorry no pic's )

now's it was time to put the first bits on the chassis :icon-cool:
