Small update from this week.

sorry for the bad quality, wife stole my camera so I ended up using my phone



getting some parts cleaned withe the pressure washer



found some longer brake hose's




got the body placed back on the chassis



scary moment, trying not to damage anything.



finally back on its place



Think it looks good, and it's sits really high on the new springs

Update from this week



Painted the grill smoke silver, couldn't resit trial fitting it.



bought a couple of nice Volvo seats so got rid of the old one's


the new seats






not an easy fix, but at the end of the day got them both fitted.


quality check of my boss


couple of new rear lights mounted, so I can get rid of the bumper mounted lights.


cleaned the dash a little bit.

hopefully the carpet will arrive next week.

Update time,

lots of little things done.

after the first test drive ( road up and down ) it started to leak oil and coolant.



replaced the valve cover gasket



replaced the water pump



modified the airfilter house to fit nicely to the snorkel



shot blasted and painted black.


bought an air scoop from a Nissan Patrol.

I wanted to mount some speakers in the car, because of the high roof there is a unused space between the original roof and the high roof, perfect for 2 nice big speakers
so I made a wooden frame to mount the speakers in to.

ready


fitted in the car, put some sound absorbing stuff behind it to give it a better sound, and they sound great


bought a set of new tire's 35 x 12.5 x 15 Kuhmo KL71

need to spray the rims as they a badly rusted


Also bought a new winch

should go like stink with a 9 hp motor on it


making a winch and bumper mount, holes needed to be drilled.

thats all for this week, little trip planned over two weeks and still got a lot to do on the car.
