LJ78 New Owner

Hi folks,
Ive just bought a lovely 5 door 1993 LJ78 2.4 and have a few questions on where to pick up parts and accessories.

Im looking for some original front matts, a nice half-wooden steering wheel and where to get some well-fitting front and rear seat covers.

Also is there any other mods I should be looking at doing? eg. removing the EGR/ fitting an intercooler?

First thing I'd do if it hasn't already would be a good service and overhaul of cooling system. New radiator thermostat water pump,flush block and fresh coolant. These engines are good little lumps but once they've been hot they do heads for the fun of it.

Cheers for the info Gav. Its been really well maintained, all those things done recently with an uprated rad a while ago, will have to check about the thermostat though.

Do you know where I could get a set of standard alloys and tires for winter? The ones that are on just now are diamond cut and would rather take them off over winter.

Your best bet is to trawl marketplace on Facebook to be fair. 80 breaker may have a set of re powder coated rims from an early 80 so worth a call. Or search up Karl Webster on here. Failing that search up Morgan Jenkins on the Toyota face book sites.
