Looking to purchase

Looking to purchase a new 2012 / 13 update 70 series here in Australia. Anything I should be awhere of potential problems wise. I intend to catch can and blank/remove egr.

I've heard of the following
Transfer case / gearbox issues

Seized variable vane turbo which the owner had to replace at own cost as Tojo wouldn't cover
under warranty (????!?)

A vehicle going through 5 sets front cv joints in 60000 km

Oil consumption issues

An weakness in the bearing department.

The only issue I've heard of is high oil consumption.

I do love the V8 TD engine though, the 2 I've driven with that engine have both felt very smooth, quite, powerful and responsive.

I know this is off topic a bit. But, After the p poor attitudes from mma, my local dealer and the p poor mn I purchased and it's associated problems....I will no longer be having anything to do with mma, Mitsubishi or it's vehicles or services and will be strongly encouraging others to do so.

And there will be a cheap ish ( read into this what you will / flogged) mn for sale in the future ( read just before 150 k ) and I will be moving over to Tojo.

Imop the local mitsu dealer needs to take customer service lessons from the people who helped me at Tojo today with my queries.
