Hello everyone...

I know it has been a while but I have been busy....

Well I had a little annoying garage visit with the Merc... and my daily little runaround is needing £££££ spending...
So it is that time..

The Land Cruiser is going in for an MOT in a few minutes..

After being on a SORN for just under a year it is that time she has to come out of retirement..
I just need someone I can trust.....

I went down to the garage last night and put the key in...
Half a turn and..............

with a big growl she sprung straight into life...

NO BUTS, NO IFS just straight away up and running...

No weird noises no excessive smoke.... Just plain lovely..

God I love that truck....

Well fingers crossed that the MOT man likes her too...

another cup of black gold...
*Yes the real stuff, proper coffee not that instant cr@p*

and the it's time to dragg miss Elsie out of her hiding place ready for an MOT..

I am getting her to the garage in the Village, bit stricter etc.. but close and convenient.. So fingers, leggs, balls, everything crossed..

Let us know how you get on. Especially if you have MOT DISASTER. I love that condition.

Lets hope its far from that frank

Thanks mate and good luck to you too...!

Seriously, good luck. I hope it flies through

I just had pretty much the biggest MOT disaster I could have imagined  but more on that after you guys have got your news....

Jeez that does not sound good...

All good here, the truck failed but only on a light bulb, a brake caliper sticking slightly and the handbrake being just below efficiency..

So I am going to West Coast in the morning to get the brakes serviced and then a re-test...

All good... :D

Got it insured for 375 fully comp including off road etc... the full hit...

yep all good...

The Merc is now drivable again and the Land Cruiser has Tax, MOT and insurance..

what a car..

Sadly she will be sold though very soon because I need space for another toy...

MOT is like a RWC - except here you have to have an inspection every year for vehicles over 3 years old, IIRC it stands for Ministry Of Transport.
