Multiple 12v Power Sockets

Not sure if that one is only for 24V (trucks) and the USB will stop working because but.... for those types of things, if they are fused (10A) then you'll be fine. If they're not fused then you'll pop the fuse in the LC if you go over 10A (in the 120). Not a big deal.
10A is a lot though, you'll have to plug a fair bit in to get it to blow. Normal things like sat navs, phone chargers etc are fine.

If I were to buy one, I would make sure it was fused (normally in the plug) but they'll all pretty much the same.

Overloading depends on how much load you switch on or connect. Not on how many plugs are connected.

Yup that one was 24v

Luckily I wasn't buying today  - thanks for the tips though... I'll find a 12v fused one

No point in fused, as the internal fuse will be 10 Amp, same as the vehicle's fuse, so you can not ensure that the vehicle's fuse won't blow.

Only draw-back with those "doublers" is that it easily looks messy, and more connectors that can fail.
