Need help wiring aftermarket stereo

Hi. Is that the plug from your original radio?

Hi. The colours on that plug look very similar to the ones on the Pioneer head unit you are trying to fit. Can you use a multi meter and check which wire is what? If I remember on the pioneer unit I fitted :-

Orange was for illumination (dimmed the display when turning sidelights on)
Red was ignition feed
Yellow was permanent live to keep memory on radio (for presets and settings)
Blue was the feed for the electric aerial (If you have two blue wires one switches the amp on for the rear speakers or sub woofer if you have one fitted)
Green and Grey wires are for the speakers front and rear. To find which wire is for what speaker you can removed the door cards and have a look at the speaker connections.
Cant remember if white is the earth or not.
Pink dont know that one
With a meter you should be able to sit in your truck and try each wire with ign on and write them down. Bit long winded but its the only way to be sure.
The colour code for my Colorado was very similar to the Pioneer unit and was quite easy to sort out. HTH
