need help with getting my tacho working

• hi guys and girls i have just brought a 1987 75 pick up= sick rig lol any way very happy with it but only issue i can find is the tachometer doesn't work. i know its had a heart transplant it use to be a 2H and now its rocking a 1hz from a 100 series. i have found the sensor + wiring on the side of the injector plug but nothing is plugged in to it. i also know the 2H had a rpm pick up in the bell housing (Hall sensor) i just need help with matching to 2 up and i know people have done this conversion before and im sure they know how to fix this but i dont know and i really want it to be 100%

The tach in my 80 didn't work neither but I fixed it.

If the 1hz came with a EGR valve, the rpm pickup at the ip pump is connected to the egr ecu and goes to the dash from there. So if you put a egr ecu in between with only the 12 v , pick up and dash connected, it could work.

shit this has no egr so no luck with that idea i was thinking i could try and find the hall sensor plug and try and run some wires from that to the plug off the injector pump
