Hi Brian Rowland here I own a 2013 VX Landcruiser 200 Turbo diesel and reside in Australia.
I have owned the vehicle from new and it has been a delight to use and totally reliable up until a recent glitch with the entry system (Key fob not recognised). The car starts normally after presenting the key to the starter button.
As a DIY guy and someone who has maintained cars and motorcycles for over 40 years I have serviced the Landcruiser post warranty expiration. I have a great deal of respect for Toyota engineering but these vehicles are complex and after 10 years a few issues are expected. The vehicle has covered 100,000KM around 60,000 miles.
I am hoping the forum may provide some advice on how to sort out this issue and in particular suggestions on the best diagnostic scanners for Toyota. Also happy to help others where I can.
