Hello all. Matt from southern NH here. I just picked up a one owner TLC with 263,000 miles. She drives really great, but has nearly all the issues that I could expect to deal with including shaky side mirrors (both), non-functional drivers side power seat, slow windows, cracked dash, squeaky steering column at low speeds, stuck power antenna, and a leaky head gasket. The good news is that it came from out west and there is no rust to speak of.

Curious how others prioritized which issue to work on first. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the font of all knowledge.
Youll like it in here, everyones nice and the kettles always on :-D

Head gasket sounds quite important. Is it diesel or petrol. I assume petrol as in USA.

lucky no rust. Get some rust treatment applied underneath.
ih8mud is your go-to for USA petrol 1fzfe trucks (I have a 97 from USA) here in Ireland
Standard list of maintaince items you;ll need to go through ; did you get any service history?

I am still waiting on the service history. It was one owner truck (bought from the son who has been driving it for the past 5 years) so I will try to track it down through Carfax. Thanks

Sort the head gasket then change all the oils and just drive it .

Oils have additives to prolong the life of seals (leaks might stop) , squeaks and slow might free up with use , so put a few miles on it before you begin pulling it apart .
