Nice 80 for sale Retford

This is for sale by a community nurse. It was her late fathers and has been in the family since she was 8 years old so it has a lot of happy memories for her and she would like to see it going to a good home. At the moment she’s just got people making her silly offers who want to rip her off and sell it on.

It may well be shiny and good inside but its seen 23 winters and there is the problem.
There are only 3 80's I know with rust free chassis and under bodies.

Well Rich, I did say " that I know about". Last time I had Langy's 80 on the ramp it was unbelievable for a 91-2 what ever it is. My 80 GS is but hasn't seen salt or water since 99, was stood for 10 years and been garaged for the last 7 and lastly the one in the photo above.
Yours may well qualify to join the club Rich, its just I hadn't seen the underneath of yours.

I can confirm the underneath is rust free, I’ve had a good look and the guy who MOT’d it said it was very good when it was up on the ramps. It’s been kept under cover for 20 years and only visited markets in the local area as he was a market trader. I can honestly assure you it’s been very well looked after, serviced by my father himself and my uncle (an ex mechanic) who owned Discount Motor Spares in Retford. I appreciate it hasn’t got a stamped book but anyone who came to look at it will see how good it really is thanks for reading
