OEM Windscreen

Have just been asked by my insurers if my windscreen has a tint all the way around, just the top and sides or just the top??

Can anyone comment on OEM glass and if it's tinted??

My screen has the same light tint as the rest of the glass. It also has a slightly darker, blue tinted band about 4" deep at the top of the screen.

It's certainly marked up as Toyota with what looks like a part number. Looking at the Aug'97 Landcruiser brochure, the 80's have the same tinted band at the top.
