Hi i have this LJ78 1992 its SX5 Turbo with 2Lte inside the hood.

Oil indication needle / gauge has fallen down and is not even visible. what could be the issue and what would be the possible remedy to get it back in action.

this is the case.. the needle is there but its way too down

Wow mate thats very limp.... have you tried viagra?

Sorry couldn't resist.. the gauges do burn out.. maybe there's a short from the sender possibly? There's an extension wire that goes over to oil sender. You can find it running underneath the turbo. The problem could actually be around there.

All the best with sorting it..

just don't add it to the oil... add it to the water!!! Lol!

My 80 series sender unit failed, so i replaced it with a calibrated gauge and new sensor for less money than the OEM sensor.

I now know what my oil pressure is in BAR, much nicer to know, rather than not much, some, or a lot
