I’ve been watching this over the past few weeks. This guy is clearly full time on this build, but his fabrication and eye for what he’s doing seem pretty accurate with seemingly no plans to follow. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I like this. The guy seems quite unassuming, even though he looks well practiced in building cars, the old 100E rod (I think it is anyway) in the background is a bit of a give-away, plus some other projects lurking...

I've been following this build and really like the approach to it. I enjoyed seeing how he was rolling the new panel reinforcements. He's quite qualified!

Good work and fabrication skills!

He certainly knows what he’s doing. Looking at the list of videos he has on YouTube, there’s some other interesting builds too.

He did a lovely job on the roll cage on my drift car.

He used to drift with us at Westonzoyland in a mk2 escort, later he built the 'Rat rod' Ford pop with a saab turbo engine.

And then he says he’s only had 2 half days on it this week. I’m sure the build will slow down as the detail gets finer.

These projects always give me Workshop envy.. I need to de-clutter.. Or find Bigger

....And when the customer’s money starts to run dry...

This one…

Though he says it was a Ford Anglia, I think he got that wrong. Looks more like a Ford Prefect on the plate.

One of his videos was a tour of the cowshed, aka his workshop. I don’t know how old the video was, but he showed us the work that had gone into an old Anglia/Prefect Rat Rod which he revealed was a stop/start project due to the customer’s sporadic cash flow. Hence my comment.

A bit like our 10-year extension on the house, still in progress :?

hes done various mix matches.
at the min hes doing a mark one escort with tje floor pan of the sierara 4x4. making various things work and getting over a fair few problems. hes running tje 2L engine and hes stuck a turbo on it.

Ye he is very good at what he does, like Rich Turner said he used to do a local drift day in his old escort, I jumped in with him as a passenger once and that thing was like a go kart.

Then the Rat Rod got him pretty noticed in 'the drifting scene' and he has grown from there.

I like the way he talks bluntly about things as he does it, I haven't actually watched the ford/mazda video's but seen some of his older stuff and his west country accent makes me laugh (I am from Devon btw)

I know how you feel, whenever I watch any fab/workshop video's I wish I had a nice big double garage.... One day!
