lol, Its me who does the cooking in this house, its safer! I once had a new Japanese super sharp knife - be careful of that I say as she washed it up by hand (not allowed in dishwasher - ) 3 seconds later blood everywhere............

Oh now that sounds familiar! Lynn decided to cut a slice off a frozen ciabatta loaf with the carving knife…like a dervish fighting furiously with some sort of monster…"be careful and how about using the bread knife" says I, ok so she changes to the bread knife and finishes the cut, nice and steadily, no problem. Puts it away then decides to have another slice and back to the mad dervish we go. Two seconds later…blood everywhere as she opens an artery (and catches a tendon as it turns out) in her finger. Not good.

This has not been the only time but been nothing for a while. I'm waiting for the next episode….
