Although not clear, it looks from the pic as though the 90deg bend is a push-fit type, which may suffer from engine vibrations. I would go for a soldered joint....

yes it is a push fit type .... i used that type because i don't have any soldering equipment, ..

it doesn't leak ... and i've tested it by blasting around the block .. and it's all bone dry

Right ... i took the truck laneing today around the local area ... and i checked my "fix" several times during my drive around to see if it'd hold up ..... which it has which is good enough for me,

Whilst my repair job obviously isn't up to everyone elses standards. ..as far as i'm concerned if it works ...thats fine
