Hi guys we have been recommissioning a 1968 FJ40 that was in a barn for ever. We are trying not to do to much as the desert look as much as pos.
so far its back running right, and we have put repair panels in the back.

hi all

we have now fitted rare none split "16 wheels with clips. These are very hard to find and are the best you can fit as split rims are a bit of a pain. When these wheels have the hub caps on the will look pretty cool I am sure you will all agree. We have fitted Goodyear Wranglers to them

hi all

we have gone a little further and decided to take the engine out for full rebuild,,,and because of that we then decided to take the frame out to get blasted and painted,,here are a few pics so far

we have moved on a bit, chassis has been powdercoated and we have fitted complete Old Man Emu suspension,,engine is being rebuilt with new just about everything with the head converted to unleaded. the owner should be pretty impressed when its finnished, bit of a shame he never saw it at the beginning
