How do you remove the centre cover(airbag) of the steering wheel?

Does it pull off?

Mine is the non-airbag type, and there's one Phillips screw pointing towards the seat when the wheel is straight, and once removed, the cover un clips from 2 clips one each side of the cover, along the (top) edge opposite the screw.

I don't know the airbag version, it could be very different, and I'd be ultra careful not to fire the bloody thing off.

There's a star drive at each side ( accessible when you take the Cruise cover off and the corresponding one at the other side) and it lifts from the wheel.

Remove earth terminal first on batteries, allow capacitor to discharge over fifteen minutes.

Be careful of the squib inside, treat it with care, you may need circlip pliers to remove squib if that is your plan?

Regards

Dave
