Replace fuel pipes....

Hi Steve, if you have another read through this thread there’s plenty of good info from Bob. The fuel lines can be changed without taking the body off but you will need to drop the tank, especially as you have replacement steel pipes, it’s a tight fit between the chassis , prop shaft and exhaust so it’s really a two man job. While you’re at it check the filler pipe for corrosion, that’s also a tight fit but it can be changedwith the body in situ.

I put a new tank into mine . . . Make sure you're sitting down when you 'phone for a quote :shock:.

Couldn't someone with the right connections source a plastic tank that will fit, more or less?
Like, a Tahoe has a similar size tank, but what's the shape and dimensions of it?

I replaced mine with a 2nd hand one, but it needed som sealing and rust treatment, so it's not a long term solution.
