Hi All,

I am looking for some advice on possible locations for a quick (long weekend) road trip to northern France. I am currently looking at the maps / google and am getting a little confused / frustrated.

I am not looking for an off road adventure, just some time to relax, sit on the beach and think.... "boy thats a decent view..... can I have another beer"

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully looking for something "cheap and cheerful", but am happy to camp.

Thanks!

On area worth visiting is Brittany in NW France. Easy and quick to get to. Lots of little villages, a nice coast line and lots of countryside. And Mount St Michel is pretty impressive.

I agree with Brittany, lovely beaches.

If you want quiet, head inland to the Suisse-Normande, seriously deserted roads!

If you can get all the way over to the Alsace region, lovely and relaxed and a very interesting area too:thumbup:
We ended up there by accident, camping / touring - and would deffinately go again..
