A great actor, in so many roles,
I remember watching him when I was a kid, in Ivanhoe, then The Saint.

As 007 I think (my opinion) he was the best one

Another well known actor gone. RIP Roger.

Yep, saw this tonight browsing over dinner.

Sad, yet he had a good innings though at 89. He was always the Saint to me, but he brought a new and more humorous dimension to the Bond character.

Another classic gone, RIP Roger.

The classic 007 for me as well. Coincidence they have started running the old series of The Persuaders on TV last week.

RIP

Regards

Dave

I never think of Roger Moore as James Bond. To me he'll always be Simon Templar, The Saint. Just watched a tribute addition of Car SOS shown tonight where they restored a guy's P1800 and got Sir Roger to sign the driver's seat. I also enjoyed The Persuaders series as a kid back in the early 70's. RIP
