I am trying to figure out what I have. I recently bought this LandCruiser Series 70. But I'm not an expert on these vehicles. The title says it's a 1984 model. The body style is a little different than most I see here in the Dominican Republic. I want to order the parts I need to rebuild the doors. What do I tell the parts suppliers?

Thanks,

-Tim

I'm not 70 series savvy but BJ70 should tell them most on what they need to know and H55F is your engine .

Edit - sorry H55F means you have a manual 5 speed gearbox .

Welcome,
Put the Vin number into www:toyodiy.com and that will give the basic info. The shorter sequence, above the VIN number, is model specific telling you it had, or didn't, from the factory.
Truck looks good.

I just tried www: partsouq.com - very clear and easy with excellent prices and diagrammes.

That may be better for you.

You tell them you have a 1984 BJ70 LandCruiser!

The B stands for 3B which is the engine you have.

The J is for LandCruiser.

And the 70 is for short wheel base.

70&71 are short wheel base.

73&74 are mid wheel base.

And 76,77,78 &79 all long wheel base models.
