Behind the grill you will see rubber scoops that direct air into the bonnet and force it through the intercooler

Sneaky! --even if it does mean you lose the "Behold my mighty intercooler!" bonnet scoop.

The factory intercooled 1kz-te uses the same method , no 90 series came with a bonnet scoop .

I've obviously been looking at too many photos of Shoguns & Troopers, as well as Land Cruisers. It's all becoming a blur!

Some of us added scoops but they don't always help

There are 2 scoops at the top of the front grill that feed air through the bonnet to the intercooler.
