Well yesterday was a different use for the 80. It was york marathon and Yorkshire 4x4 response were providing vehicle support. Various duties including ensuring anyone who had to retire got back safely to the uni.
It was a wet and cold day which meant we were busy. Early start and a long day.
I started with a good backdrop for my first standby location, York Minster in the background
Following behind the sweeper vehicle near the end.
Quick debrief and stood down after a long day.
Everyone who needed to retire were very grateful for a warm dry vehicle to get in, felt for a few people climbing up into the 80 with sore stiff legs! Really good day.
