Testing, replacing, and repairing seat motors, gears, alignment, etc... out of the 'cruiser would make things easier having 12 volts hooked up. I've not had them out before in either of my FJ80's. My 1997 driver seat came out easy I just need to know where the power supply wires are and attach a 12v battery. Testing any seat component and replacing parts would be easy while on the work bench.

So, without my having to delve into electrical diagrams I thought I'd ask someone who's done it before. Where would those wires be?

Thanks in advance. Dobbin22

I undid my seat bolts/nuts and tilted the seats over. The wiring plug was then easy to see and unplug.
