I'm about to fit some new Hankook DynaPro 'boots' to the truck but can't decide on 33's or 35's.

What are the pros/cons of the two different sizes, 35's have a bigger 'foot print' which is good in the sand but 33's will be less stress on the drive train (I think)..... what would you go for?

Unless you are going to regear I think 33's are the only sensible option for you. 35's would be ok for messing about in the UK but in a hot climate you'd have to keep a careful eye on the temperatures of the engine and box.

Another vote for 33s - less unsprung weight, less strain on the drivetrain, lighter spare etc. Unless you're planning serious off-road activities, the performance benefits of the 35s are probably not that significant for normal overlanding.

I'd also vote for 33" for general use and overlanding

Thanks guys, I must admit this is what I was swinging towards as I have two brand new 33x12.5x15 BFG ATs sitting in the garage that can be used as spares.

Thanks for the feedback
