Upgrading weights for 200 series

Hi Guys
Has anyone on forum upgraded their tow weight to 4 tons and also the GVM to 3850KG ?
and was it worth the money
I'm about to get a new Sahara and was thinking of this upgrade before it is registered.

Hi Snoopy, for our 2019 GXL went for the Lovells GVM upgrade (pre reg) to 3800Kg (450kg increase) with replacement upper control arms. I am very happy with ride and handling. It was a 500kg upgrade when old GVM was 3300kg, GVM is now 3350kg. Ride height is up but will settle when we load up for a trip. Worth the money? as you don't need to add too many accessories to go over GVM I think so. Not sure if the GCM upgrades are legal in all oz states anymore need to check elsewhere. There was a lot of talk about changes late 2018.
