Ordered some new belts recently. Going to fit this afternoon. Alternator/WP and Power Steering.
The ones fitted have cogs, the ones that have arrived don't. I've read the ones without run hotter and are less efficient but I don't know if it'll make lots of difference.

Would be interested to hear what peoples experiences are.

Thanks.

A toothed vee belt is design to run on smaller pulley as rich said.

They are totally interchangeable on a engine application. The best thing to make sure is the pair ate the same length
