Hello all,

Well after a month in Vietnam, we arrived back in China.
I am not sure I will go back to Vietnam again.
We picked up 2 x Honda motorbikes for $45 each for the month.
We rode tham from center of Hanoi, which is an episode on it's own, out towards Hai Phong and Cat Ba Island, where Ha Long Bay is.
A few days there, and we were back towards Hai Phong, and heading south towards Saigon.
Almost the exact same route as Topgear, however reversed.
Did the Hue, Hai Van Pass, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Mui Ne, and eventually Saigon.

A few days fighting the traffic in Saigon, and then the bikes on a freight train, back to Hanoi.
We followed the next day.
We collected the bikes from Hanoi station when we arrived, and took them back to the renter.
They run faultless, for all the 2300 km.
We his some serious bad roads, some pot holes that really needed a land Cruiser to get past, we hit some bridges, where the road either side, had dropped maybe up to 3 inches, boy, did them front wheels take some hammer.

Any way, glad to be back in China, away from the constant cheating of foreignersm and dare I say, very happy to get back to some decent food.
To say the Vietnam food is bad, is an understatement, it is worse than that.
