Window wiper linkage wanted after stupidity

Had a bit of an issue with the lug head in the summer when trying to remove the scuttle.

The wiper has been secure till now as forced it onto the thread. I think that time has come to an end and I need to drill out the thread.

Does anyone have a linkage suitable for a LJ70 I could purchase?

I had the same issue with the wiper linkage on my 1986 LJ70. The pivot points also came apart. I looked all over the world for a new linkage for a year and could not find a new or used one anywhere. I finally wound up having to machine the moving parts and used the old bars to reassemble. it was a job to get all the angles correct and put together but they work great. Good luck! The part that is broken on yours (the shaft) I was able to secure by buying a linkage for a newer model hilux but it was riveted to the bar from the back, so I had to cut this off center drill and tap the back side of the shaft and then secure with a screw and epoxy to keep it from working its way out when in use.
