Windscreens and glass

Just had my windscreen replaced pre-MOT. The fitter said that 70 series screens were becoming hard to get hold of - took 4 days to acquire mine apparently. Just a heads-up. If you have a spare one hang on to it!

Got mine from my local Toyota Dealer in Colchester.

No problems at all was about £100, i also bought a new rubber seal,.

Tried through a window fitting company, they made a complete mess of it and got totally the wrong one, so i bought my own and paid a fitter cash to fit.

Autoglass in Glasgow had one for me in less than 24 hours last year. Windscreen was slightly tinted blue, manufactured 3 months before fitting in South Africa.
