I am having serious problems aligning the oil tube from the turbo to the side of the engine block so I can fit the banjo bolt…mainly no space and danger of breaking the tube connection to the turbo.I have tried all sorts to do this without removing anything else.!!I have removed the exhaust...
I tried all I could and they had the cheek to advise me to buy ’correct fitting studs’ as I did not know the specs for the landcruiser studs.Any way we disagreed and my garage me sent me contact for machinist at H&M hydraulics who machined four studs for me to suit the new turbo holes ...
I bought a new turbo ..max-speeding rods..and I am having problem as the new studs thread wont fit into the turbo side. The studs are from a full turbo fitting set FA1 PL. I tried the old studs and they too wont fit into the turbo thread!!! Andy one had a similar issue???

Its original toyota 100 series.
the flap is definitely not stuck nor rusty…its the actuator where its stuck.(I released the actuator bolts and the flap is free)
I will take it to a garage to see if it opens on air pressure increase carefully.
I’ll read the sticker tomorrow and send to you...
Yes turbo is out on bench! Its stuck with the flap closed..the thing is turning freely with no end play at all and i now think that the oil stains were from the breather and not that much anyway! Are you suggesting I open it up?
