Pretty weird ay.. So I gave it a quarter of a turn more diesel and increased the boost to 1,1 bar. It now runs better and the idle came up so much I need to adjust it down again :) Cold engine idle is fine, but warm is to high

1st testrun: engine was not pulling very good, so I had to look at the timing A lot of work to loosen the pump again :(. Set the timing to 0,94mm. 2nd testrun: Low idle - can easily be adjusted Pulls better at low rpm Pulls not so good at high speeed/5th gear - I guess more fuel and boost...

You probably got an electronic one, you can find out by looking at it. Mine started after changing to a mechanical one, but I don't know if it was the pump, sensor, ecu or something else that stopping it from starting :)

Had to drill. Blocked the egr hose at the same time

Update: the new pump is in and the engine is running again. Got the accelerator bracket of a 1kz-t engine, but I had to order a throttle cable, so no test run so far. Also sorted out the tacho wiring, but I need to find a source for the fuel cut solenoid. The butterfly valve is at the moment...

Quite small. I guess the £300 ++ range is more normal, but I'll let you know if I find another one :)

I paid £30 which is very cheap. Now I just have to get old pump out :) I'm nearly there but the pump is stuck of course. Get some new tool :)

I got the pump really cheap :) Does anyone know if I can the accelerator and cable bracket from a 2lt?

No other symptons. I gave up and are getting a manuell pump. Any good threads on how change? :)

Tried to bump start. Car started and ran for a couple of seconds. Then stopped.. Grey smoke
