    Thank you Andy. I am determined to make the new motor run on on the bench before I start with the installation, I just need to figure out how to make the ECU run the motor efficiently as I have retained the manual gearbox

    I have purchased a 1HD-FTE engine complete with wiring harness and ECU. Is there anyone out there that can advise how to make that engine run on a 'test bench'?
