    Yes, I thought so. It's cost me a fair bit recently, had a new power steering pump and rack as well in the last couple of months.... I hope it behaves itself for a while now :)

    Replaced with a new tank from Toyota in the end. Not cheap but I did not fancy a second hand one, and no more Diesel on the drive :)

    Sub Tank Fuel Leak - where to start

    Mine is leaking, actually started last week. Parked on incline full up facing backwards and the drive was covered in diesel. Tank is rusty :( Can you buy a pattern one or would I be best to get a second hand replacement ?

    Ok so just replace the single earlier panel with the later seperate ones under the lights. I may look at this if I get my paintwork tidied up.

    I have also found the gliptone / liquid leather stuff to be excellent, you would probably need their scuffmaster kit.     I think there is a variation though and obviously the standard of technicians and their understanding of certain models will vary from dealer to dealer... Otherwise what you are saying is that a full and complete service history counts for nothing and that "fred in a shed" is better... which...
