Yeh I thought that from the front of the doors on KZJ78 back was identical to the new 76 Stationwagon - Does anyone know if this includes the windscreen? I checked Megazip and they were charging over $1000 for a new one, whereas a company in Australia is selling them for $110, but noone can tell...

Just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a new windscreen for my KZJ78? Mine has 4 chips, three large and one small one in the direct field of view (not an MOT failure, but I'd really like to get a new one anyway). Toyota UK says they cant get that part for me. Cheers!

Thanks for the advice everyone, I ended up calling the local toyota dealership to ask their advice and if they could do it, and got talking to a real old toyota fanatic who runs the service department, apparently collects all sorts and knows about all things old toyota, so thought I'd let them...

Time has come for an MOT on the KZJ78 - just wondering if I need to take it to a specialist or if any old garage can do them. I'm in Cheltenham UK if anyone has any recommendations! Thanks!

The D4D V8 is an awesome engine. I'd pick that one any day of the week. Sounds amazing and you'll get twice the miles out of a gallon. Horse power sells cars, torque wins races. Someone sensible once said that!

Hi All, Thought this thread could do with an update. I must be one of the newest Landcruiser owners on the forum as I only bought my LJ78 in August... I have just sold it :( already! Now in Aberdeen! I miss its brown paint. The good news is that I've bought another Landcruiser and its a KZJ78...
